What is DJA Fitness Training?
DJA Fitness Training is a small private gym in Old Town Mukilteo where I, Dan Allen, am the primary trainer. I specialize in strength and conditioning, weight loss and health coaching, helping people stay healthy and be the best version of themselves that they can be. We are much different than most other fitness facilities as I take pride in providing a positive experience with every trip to the gym and pay close attention to each client, to help them reach their goals.
Meet Dan
Good health and fitness have always been important to me. In 2011, I joined the fitness industry as a personal trainer to help people reach their full potential and become the best version of themselves. I’ve always believed that the gym should be fun. Yes, it takes hard work but it can be fun at the same time. With this belief I have helped many people reach their goals and set new ones they didn’t think possible before. Whether your goals are losing a few pounds, making a team and excelling in your sport, coming off of injury rehab post physical therapy, toning up your muscles to look and feel good, wanting to just be healthy or prepping for an event. Whatever your health and fitness goals are, they are within your grasp and I want to help! Regardless of your fitness level.

What Does Fitness Mean to Me?
So, what does health and fitness mean for me? Well, it's simple. As a father, I’ve been able to watch my sons grow up, and of course I want to keep up with them as long as humanly possible! Well, that’s not much longer if not passed all together. So that leaves me with this. I love throwing on the ol' backpack with my boys and friends, heading out into the wilderness and finding our way to the summit of one of the many beautiful, soaring peaks that make the Pacific Northwest so special. Fitness to me means being able to go on an adventure without hesitation, whenever the opportunity arises. It also means being able to continue doing what I love for as long as I can see into the future.
Fitness to me means, giving myself the best chance of being with my wife, kids, family and friends as long as possible, and doing the things that make life great as often as possible. Never having to wonder if I'm ready, I know I am. What could health and fitness mean for you?
